LEGO® Education SPIKE™ App version 3.4.5 Release Notes

SPIKE App version 3.4.5 has several minor fixes. Due to the need to update our app to better support Android 14, we have removed support for Android 7, as that is no longer compatible. Android 7 users can continue to use the SPIKE App version 3.4.3 if that is already installed.

SPIKE App version 3.4.5 improves user experience in many ways, including, but not limited to, the following: 

Changes in SPIKE App version 3.4.5

  • IMPROVEMENT Accessibility Commitment statement updated (LEGO®_Education_Accessibility_Commitment_Statement.pdf & LEGO Education SPIKE )

  • IMPROVEMENT Warning message is removed for users when upgrading from SPIKE Legacy to SPIKE App 3+ firmware. This message is not needed now as SPIKE Legacy app is no longer supported.

  • BUG FIXED Fix for issue when sharing programs from Chromebook native app.

  • BUG FIXED Improvement in the accuracy of the move by degrees movement block when this is using a variable.

  • BUG FIXED Line graphs can now go full screen.

  • BUG FIXED Variables pane now correctly displays forecast location.

  • BUG FIXED Functionalities bar is now displayed in lobby page on iOS and Android.

  • BUG FIXED It is now possible to disconnect Prime hub when connected through USB cable on Web app
