LEGO® Education SPIKE™ App version 3.2.1 Release Notes

SPIKE App ships with new firmware for LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime, which must be updated before the app can be used with a LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime Hub. It changes how the SPIKE Prime hub connects to the app. It should make the time to connect faster, and going forward, firmware updates will take less time.

 

SPIKE App version 3.2.1. improves the app in many ways, including, but not limited to, the following:

  • IMPROVEMENT Add program slot selector in icon blocks when using SPIKE Prime

  • IMPROVEMENT Automatically reconnect hubs on native apps when updating SPIKE App 3 firmware

  • IMPROVEMENT Increase the size of the port selectors button when selecting what port a sensor or motor is attached to.

  • BUG FIXED The dashboard sensor mode setting no longer reverts to the first option

  • BUG FIXED 5x5 write text now waits when writing a single character

  • BUG FIXED The Underwater Quest lesson now has a reduced palette

  • BUG FIXED Windows native app now properly separates downloaded SPIKE App 3 content from downloaded SPIKE App 2 content

  • BUG FIXED Adds missing building instructions for the Big Little Helper lesson

  • BUG FIXED Adds missing blocks to the Taxi lesson

  • BUG FIXED Adds the ability to go directly to the help section for weather and music blocks
