SPIKE App version 3.2.2 Release Notes

SPIKE App ships with new firmware for SPIKE Prime, which must be updated before the app can be used with a SPIKE Prime hub. It changes how the SPIKE Prime hub connects to the app. It should make the time to connect faster, and going forward, firmware updates will take less time.

SPIKE App version 3.2.2 improves the app in many ways, including, but not limited to, the following:

• IMPROVEMENT New Spike App welcome and firmware update messages.

• IMPROVEMENT During the Bluetooth connection process, users now do not see a ‘You are connected’ message and instead quickly go directly to their project.

• IMPROVEMENT Variables now display in a list for users to monitor.

• BUG FIXED Windows 10 installation of Spike App version 3.2.2 will now not overwrite earlier Spike App versions. It is now possible to install two versions of the app if both Spike App 3 and Spike Legacy app (2.0.9) are needed.

• BUG FIXED Adds missing blocks to the Spike Essential ‘Daytime and Nighttime’ lesson

• BUG FIXED Fix for Spike Essential set Power Button light to color word block.

• BUG FIXED Fix for Spike Essential set pixel brightness word block.

• BUG FIXED Line graphs now have an improved time format (mm:ss:ms).
