With LEGO® Education SPIKE™ App version 3.4.0, we are introducing a number of accessibility improvements and fixes, targeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. Our changes improve the usability of SPIKE App for all, and in particular make it more accessible to a wider range of people with disabilities, including accommodations for blindness and low vision.
Text color changes to improve color contrast readability
Improved keyboard navigation when using Python coding canvas
Improved screen reader compatibility
SPIKE App ships with new firmware for SPIKE LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime, which must be updated before the app can be used with a SPIKE Prime Hub. It changes how the SPIKE Prime Hub connects to the app. This should make the connection faster, and ensure that future firmware updates take less time. LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime Hub.
