With SPIKE App version 3.3.0 and later versions, we have relaunched the Python API in the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ App. This is a new editor experience that will be available for both the web app and to download. The single Python API allows for faster program execution, easier progression from Scratch to Python, as well as a more advanced programming and models. The Python editor offers students and teachers a fun and engaging coding experience, which can be used together with SPIKE™ Prime.
SPIKE App ships with new firmware for SPIKE LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime, which must be updated before the app can be used with a SPIKE Prime hub. It changes how the SPIKE Prime hub connects to the app. This should make the connection faster, and ensure that future firmware updates take less time. LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime Hub.
SPIKE App version 3.3.1 includes minor bug fixes.
